Greenmeadows Health Centre Sportsperson of the Year
People are not nominated specifically for this award. Judges will assess all nominations for
the individual award categories listed below, deciding on a finalist shortlist. Judges will then
award the Greenmeadows Health Centre Sportsperson of the Year prize to the nominee
deemed to possess the highest sporting merit.
The judges will then select a winner for each of the four individual categories according to
the specific criteria for each award category.
AusSports Scoreboards Junior Sportsperson of the Year – Primary School Age
Donovan Oates Hannaford Junior Sportsperson of the Year High School Age
Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie Sportsperson with a Disability
Flower Hotels Senior Sportsperson of the Year
Notes:

1. Individuals will only be eligible to win one award, the highest accolade considered
   to be the Greenmeadows Health Centre Sportsperson of the Year.
2. At the Awards Presentation Breakfast, the finalists selected by the judges for the
   Greenmeadows Health Centre Sportsperson of the Year award will be announced and
   invited to the stage to receive a finalist certificate from the Greenmeadows Health Centre
   representative prior to any of the nominees or winners of the individual award categories
   being announced.
3. However, the announcement of the winner of the Geenmeadows Health Centre Sportsperson of the Year and the presentation of the award will be the final presentation of
   the Sunrise Rotary award categories.

• Nominees must be in Primary School in 2023
• Achievements from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will be considered

• Nominees must be in Secondary/High School in 2023
• Achievements from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will be considered,
  even if the nominee was in Primary School in 2022

• Nominees must have left school before the beginning of 2023, although they may be
  undertaking other studies
• Achievements from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will be considered

• Achievements from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will be considered

• Team members must be over 18 years of age in 2023
• Achievements of the same team from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will
  be considered

• Team members must be 18 years of age or under in 2023
• Achievements of the same team from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will
  be considered

• Achievements from 1 October 2022 until the time of nomination will be considered

• Determined by the judges from nominees for all category awards
• Judges may select up to three recipients for this award
